JS-936 Silane Modified Sealant is a high-quality, single component, paintable, and pollution resistant neutral modified sealant based on silane modified polyether polymers. This product is solvent free, isocyanate free, and PVC free. It is odorless and environmentally friendly, and can solidify when exposed to moisture in the air. The product is used for seam sealing in elevator cars, containers, car bodies, train carriages, ships, metal structures, machinery, electronics, plastics, air conditioning, clean rooms, ventilation equipment, etc., playing a bonding and fixing role

Operation and Safety
  • usage method
  • Normally, JS-936 silane modified sealant can be firmly bonded to the following materials without primer: aluminum, stainless steel, coated steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder coated metal, painted metal, glass, PVC, polyester (GRP), sprayed or painted wood, etc. However, the surface of the material should be clean, dry, ash free, and oil free.
  • Cannot bond untreated polyethylene, polypropylene, and polytetrafluoroethylene plastic surfaces. Please consult the technical personnel of Zhijiang Company regarding the use of cleaning agents.
  • Coloring performance
  • This product can be colored using traditional methods after surface drying, including epoxy resin and acrylic acid coatings. Coatings containing high solvent components such as glossy enamel or high oil based coatings can cause the adhesive surface to become soft.
  • In order to achieve the best appearance and performance, the coating must be close to the tensile strength of this product. For areas with adhesive thickness less than 3mm, coloring can be carried out after 24 hours. For thicknesses greater than 3mm, coloring can be carried out after 48 hours.

  • Surface cleaning uses a steel brush to remove all dirt, dust, and loose materials, while using a cleaning agent to clean all grease. All previous adhesives must be cleaned by scraping, chipping, rubbing, blowing, or suitable methods.
  • Undercoat
  • The use of JS-936 silane modified sealant usually does not require the use of a primer. If it is necessary to use primer on certain materials during the adhesion test, pour the Zhijiang special primer onto a non shedding white cloth, wipe it onto a thin layer of the surface that needs to be sealed, and wait for it to dry before applying the sealant.

  • Use sufficient pressure to apply JS-936 silane modified sealant to the surface of the substrate material, ensuring that the thickness applied is not less than 1mm.

  • Do not contact uncured sealant products with food or cosmetics; Uncured sealant should not come into contact with the skin for a long time;
  • If the sealant accidentally enters the eyes, it must be immediately rinsed with a large amount of water and then checked by a doctor; Place the product out of reach of children.
Color and packaging

JS-936 silane modified sealant is available in three standard colors: black, white, and gray. Other colors can also be provided according to customer needs.

JS-936 silane modified sealant is provided to customers in a net capacity of 600mL aluminum plastic film soft packaging. Customers can also provide 300mL hard tubes, 400mL aluminum plastic film soft packaging, 20L iron drums, and 200L (55 gallon) large drum packaging according to their needs.

Storage and expiration date

When JS-936 silane modified sealant is stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry, and ventilated place, the product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
