Two component polyurethane structural adhesive

ZJ-402 is a two component polyurethane adhesive that, after curing, forms an elastomer with excellent properties such as high strength, aging resistance, vibration fatigue resistance, and low temperature corrosion resistance. ZJ-402 has excellent flame retardant performance, meets the requirements of low odor and low VOC emissions, and complies with EU ROHS regulations. ZJ-402 is suitable for machine dispensing and manual mixing operations; Suitable for bonding various materials such as metal, plastic, rubber, polyester, etc. ZJ-402 is used for bonding between new energy battery module cells and bottom shells, cells and cells, as well as for self bonding or mutual bonding of materials such as metals, ceramics, cement, wood, PU, glass, and fiberglass.

Operation and Safety
  • usage method:
  • • Surface cleaning
  • Use gauze or other tools to remove dust, loose materials, oil stains, and surface water stains from the surface of the area that needs to be coated. If there is rust on the area that needs to be coated with glue, first remove it with a metal brush, and then wipe the surface with acetone and alcohol.
  • Primer and cleaning agent
  • To achieve optimal adhesion performance, corresponding primers and cleaning agents should be used. When applying primer and cleaning agent, it should be ensured that the application is uniform and there is no accumulation of primer or cleaning agent or the surface of the substrate is not covered.
  • • Mixing
  • ZJ-402 two-component polyurethane structural adhesive can be mixed using a static mixing tube.
  • • Coating operation
  • Use pneumatic or electric glue guns or other gluing equipment to apply ZJ-402 two-component polyurethane structural adhesive to the construction site.
  • matters needing attention:
  • When ZJ-402 two-component polyurethane structural adhesive is used in immersion applications, it should be fully cured before immersion;
  • Wet coating technology is not allowed, and it is recommended not to use solvents, water, cleaning agents, or soap solutions;
  • Before consulting the technical personnel of Zhijiang, it is not allowed to use high chlorine disinfection areas such as swimming pools.
  • Pre test procedure
  • In order to eliminate potential problems in the application site, Zhijiang can sample various materials used for adhesives, determine the best adhesive used in advance, and develop the best surface treatment method to obtain the best adhesive performance. Please consult the technical personnel of Zhijiang for specific information.
Color and packaging

According to customer requirements, we can provide 400 mL, 600 mL dual component rubber tube packaging or 20 L small barrels, 200 L large barrels packaging.

Storage and expiration date

It is recommended to store in a cool and dry place for a storage period of 6 months;

Incorrect storage conditions can affect product application and performance after curing.
